Did You Know That...
The hare and the rabbit are not the same creature. Hares are larger and have longer legs and ears; and, unlike rabbits, when hares are born, they have alot of fur and their eyes are open.
The gradual demise of the world's tropical rainforests is devastating. More than half of the world's estimated 10 million species of plants, animals and insects live there. Each day, 137 plant, animal and insect species are lost due to deforestation.
