Out of The Mouths of Babes...

I read this little bit in one of those never-ending emails. A group of school children had been asked how they knew when someone loved them. Among the various answers that one might expect was this from one little fellow. He knew someone loved him when "his name was safe in their mouth."

Wow! What a profound thought. You know someone loves you when your name is safe in their mouth. What an all-encompassing thought.

This person's love will never tell an untruth about you; engage in gossip about you behind your back; will stand up for you if you are not there to defend yourself; will support you if you are there and need help; will never exaggerate facts to make you look less than what you are; will never use words to humiliate or in any way hurt you; will instead use words to comfort and uplift you...

How old was this child?

What a compliment for anyone to receive: I know my name is safe in your mouth!
